Amateur astronomer captures sprites over Finland

This link may be interesting - An amateur meteor watcher captured sprites over central Finland on October 9. The text is in Finnish but there are links to good pictures, and as you can see the authors refer to Martin and Yoav.

Our Sodankylä infrasound station detected a chirp during the same day but at a different time (8:57 UT), so there must have been more extensive sprite activity!

Gigantic jet captured by Italian Meteor and TLE Network

Amazing news from Italy: Ferruccio Zanotti observed a gigantic jet on 12 December 2009, from Montignoso, in the direction of the Tyrrhenian Sea. A video and more details on the gigantic jet and other TLEs observed by IMTN over the last weekend could be found here.
